If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been tinkering with the layout of Get Fit Slowly. It’s coming around, but there are still more changes coming. I thought that this was going to be an easy project, but it’s turned out to be a big pain in the butt because I don’t know anything about site design, layout, or coding. But I’m learning and things are coming together.
Yesterday was a great day in Oregon. The day dawned crisp, and clear. It was a perfect fall day. The ground was still moist from last weeks rain and the wind was trying hard hard to strip the last of the leaves off of the trees in the forest.
T and I headed out for a run at 8AM. Our maintenance plan had called for a 14 mile easy run. We had been talking each other out of running that far all week and decided that we only wanted to run 10 or 12. But we headed out the door and just kept going. The sun was so bright and the breeze was so nice that we had no problems making the full 14. We ran 14 miles in 2:22 which made this run both the farthest and the longest run I’ve ever completed.
It was a great day.

Hi Mac – I liked to the old layout better. First the brown background with grey lettering is hard to read, and second I perfer the entire post be listed rather than just a few sentences and the need to click to read the rest. On a positive note the new pictures are nice.
Wow thats a beautiful pic, I’m guessing the grass isn’t too hard on your joints.
