Wow Mac - talk about an impressive set of numbers. In general I'm sometimes skeptical of measurements only because I can never seem to get them right (3 measures, 3 different results, etc.), but seeing this visual of the progress is really motivating. I might have to give it a go.

It's funny - I was totally wondering about the same two stats that you were most proud of, as I have a similar set of things for which I'm self-conscious. Do you think the losses were due to just your overall toning and body fat reduction? Or are you doing specific exercises that are really toning those areas? (apologies if this info is in a previous post - looking now.)

Keep up the amazing work!

Awesome progress! Perfect example of the mantra that our weight is built in the kitchen, not the gym. Congratulations!

Wow! That's awesome, Mac. Congratulations. And you're right, it's all due to hard work, which is something that (I guess) scares me. Why? Good question. Am I afraid I'll work myself to death from a heart attack? Am I afraid I'll have to forgo things that make life worth living forever? Am I afraid that I'll fail, and all that work will have been for naught? You have A) a great support system; B) a trainer whose rules you follow to the letter; C) a public commitment (this blog); D) the will to get up every day and stick to your guns; and most importantly, E) REALISTIC, MEASURABLE GOALS and a measurable daily plan. So I can look at you and say, "He did it. So can I." Thanks for the motivation!

Congrats, Mac! Good for you to reward your hard work with a vacation. I'm not a physical fitness expert (or an expert in ANYTHING that has to do with exercise, nutrition, weightloss, etc.), but I can just tell how proud you are of your accomplishment. Your positive attitude and work ethic is infectious!! :)

I agree, 4.5" off the waist (or belly, or whatever) is amazing progress in just 5 weeks. All I can say is "wow." Way to go!
