Better late than never, huh? I totally spaced the weekend warrior results post for some reason. And since I didn’t want to let people down, I thought I’d go back and revisit it now. This was my second attempt at the weekend challenge sponsored by Brandon from So Long Fatass. I’m happy to report that I fared much better at this attempt. Below is a list of the goals that I set for this past weekend:
- Complete my first marathon in under 4 hours.—Check! 3:46
- Have fun with the family at the kids annual 300m fun run.—Check! Pam’s account is here.
- Eat well but eat a lot and not weigh more on Monday than I did on Saturday morning.—Check! I weighed 164.7 on Saturday morning and 164.0 on Monday morning. Today I checked in at 163.6 Yeah for maintaining!
And here’s the list of all the participants. Some of them are pretty neat people making some awesome changes in their lives. Support a few of them, I’m sure they’ll pay it forward:
- Lauren from Less Lauren
- Frank from Male Weight Loss Now
- SeattleRunnerGirl
- Carla from The Right Fit
- Tara from 263 and Counting
- Scott from Minus 5 Times 10
- jord from A Journey of 26.2 Miles Begins with a Blog
- Gluten Free Pumpkins
- Sean from Learn Fitness
- Amy from Living and Loving Life
- Craig from My Life, Take Eight
- Jamie from I Can Heal My Self!
- Mac from Get Fit Slowly
- Josie from 35 and Shrinking
- Erin from Erin Takes Control
- Shelli from Shelli Belly
- 146 Pounds
- Jess from Half of Jess
Weekend Warrior Challenge is actually a pretty fun way to keep me accountable on the weekends. I definitely struggle watching what I eat and getting enough exercise then, so I’m happy to participate. Have a great weekend, maybe you should make this weekend a weekend warrior weekend!

Wow at making that time on your 1st marathon, that’s great! Hmm, the weekend warrior challenge sounds like a great idea! I may have to get in on that.
